Does anyone really notice the difference between professional and consumer balancing devices, or is it just marketing? I've been looking for a device for a long time and realized that many professional models are three times more expensive but perform the same functions as consumer ones. What is the real difference, and is it worth the extra cost? 

Has anyone compared balancing instruments , can you tell me if there are any full reviews or comparisons on them ?
